BHRAMARI PRAANAYAMAM......

After prayer we practised Anuloma viloma pranayamam. It is a form of breathing exercise performed through nose. This type of yoga is excellent for curing respiratory problems especially asthma. It facilitates proper functioning of lungs, mitigates stress, lifts up our mood and Keeps stress at bay. This yoga pose is perfect for all ages.
Then Sir gave certain tips for practicing yoga.
Tips include:
• Practice Yoga at early morning, so that we are not get disturbed from any sort of noise.
•Practice yoga in room with open air circulation.
•Place for practising yoga must be neat and clean.
•Make use of convenient dress for practising yoga.
•Yoga practice stimulates internal organs and thereby improving proper circulation and enhance proper functioning of all organs.
It was an interesting session. Then sir taught as Bhramari pranayamam. In this pranayamam, our index fingers are pressed inside both sides of ear and inhale and exhale the air and sound ressembles like humming of bee.Benefits of practicing bhramari pranayamam is to reduce stress, anxiety, anger , reducing blood pressure, providing a good Sonorous voice and removing throat ailments.
Second session of the class was handled by Shiney ma'am. Class begins with an inspirational quote by Biji on Dr APJ Abdul kalam "If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun." And also she shared two vocabulary words.

Due to NAAC work, only few minutes ma'am spend with us in the online class. Ma'am shared the definition of two terms scientific temper and scientific literacy. Then ma'am gave us a work to add certain points on scientific temper and scientific literacy in notes.
