EDUCATION AND PHILOSOPHY ARE THE TWO SIDES OF A SAME COIN...

Day 19:  As usual we started the class with a prayer at chappal. Then we all engaged in Yoga practice. Sir taught us about vajrasanam and sughasanam. 
Vajrasanam and sughasanam are neuromuscular Exercises. Benefits of neuromuscular exercises were:
• Regulate the endocrine function
•Oxygenates the body
•Not get too tired. 
•Reduce pulmonary disorders
We also practiced the yoga that we learned at the last class. It was an interested session. 
Then Maya ma'am took the class. Ma'am taught us that Education and philosophy are mutually dependent. 
Education and philosophy are the two sides of a same coin. 
Philosophy plays role in:
•Curriculum
•Methods of teaching
•Textbooks
•Role of teachers
•Values
•Teacher pupil relationship
Ma'am concluded the session by gave us a game session. 
Then Shiney ma'am took the class. The  description for  'Contribution of scientists in the field of science' were shared by our classmates.
Scientists like Charles Darwin, Dr Verghese kurien, Har Gobind Khorana and Janaki Ammal were discussed at the class. 
Afternoon session was library. Then Ancy ma'am taught us about stages of development (prenatal and postnatal stage) .

Last hour class was handled by Dr Joju sir.Sir conducted seminar. We got so many points on Benefits and Dangers of Technology. 
A few friends were also added some extra points. It was an interesting session. 
Then we moved to practice for talent hunt.
