GOOD ACTOR REQUIRES VOICE, BODY AND MIND....

Day 28:
The day begins with an assembly at College. It was the first assembly of this Year. MEd batch conducted the assembly. Assembly begins with a prayer, News reading,  Shared Thought for The Day and some interested programs were performed by them. Principal inaugurated MEd association named "AGNI" 2021.
After the assembly, we moved to optional class. Shiney ma'am taught us about Learning and Teaching. 
•Learning and Teaching is an art and science. 
•Teaching is a multi dimensional process with teacher, learner, learning material, learning activities, learning environment which is aimed at bringing behavioural changes in learner. 
•The purpose of teaching is to facilitate purposeful behavioural change among learner. 
•Teaching become effective through learning and learning become perfect through teaching.
Ma'am concluded the session that Learning and Teaching are interconnected to each other. 
Then Giby ma'am taught us about Learning Experience. It usually deals with what to teach. 
It includes:
•Meaningfulness
•Gradation
•Difficulty level
•Basic skill of a teacher is the explanation skill. 
Ma'am substantiate the learning experience by sharing Brunerian theory. 
Then our Arts sir Reju sir came to the class. Our principal sir introduced Reju sir. As we had no time to perform practical session. Reju sir taught us about the features of an Actor. An actor should have voice, body and mind.Sir told us to clap,  act laugh and cry based on the movement of stick in his hand. It was an interesting class. 
Afternoon session class was handled by  Dr Maya ma'am and Dr Ancy ma'am.
Maya ma'am taught about role of teacher in Naturalism. 
Ma'am began the class by told us to sing a song on nature. Students sang the song and dance for the song. Then ma'am continued the portion on Naturalism. 
Teacher should be a:
•Observer
•Protector
•Stage setter
Merits of Naturalism
•Child centered education
•Modern psychological process
•Education as a pleasurable activity
•Different methods of teaching
Demerits of Naturalism
•Maximum freedom may cause indiscipline. 
•Negative education

Then Ancy Ma'am taught about stage 5 and 6 of Kohleberg's stages of moral development. 
Stage 5:Individuals begin to think in rational terms, valuing the rights of human beings and welfare of society. 
Stage 6: Individuals judge morality in terms of self chosen ethical principles. 
Ma'am shared these stages with the example from the life of Heinz Dilemma. It was an awesome session. 
Then Joju sir took the class. Sir gave the seminar topic for each optional class.
