ORIENTATION CLASS BY MASTER TRAINER JOBY KOTTOOR...

Day 16:Today we begin our class with a  prayer session. Forenoon session was handled by a master trainer Joby kondoor. It was an interactive and practical session. Sir shared many views on teaching. 

• A teacher who had done any mistake should  apologize. 

•If any one who had done great things to you, you should say thanks to them.

•If you done any mistake, you  should have the courage to come forward. 

•Name of a person depicts culture, heredity, religion, love. So we should respect the name of each and every student. 

•You should love, respect each other. 

'Give Respect and Take Respect.' •Friendship have five relationships: Respect, Understanding, Caring, Cooperation, Responsibility. 

Afternoon session was handled by Dr Maya ma'am. Ma'am gave us seminar topic for each optional group. Later she taught us about Functions of Education and Agencies of Education. Functions of Education includes:

•Individual development

•Character development

•Knowledge development

•Social development

•Cultural development

•Health

•National Integration

•Understanding international

 •Ideal Citizenship

•Vocational development

Ma'am concluded the session by sharing ideas on agencies or types of education. They are formal, Non formal and informal. 

Then Joju Sir took the class. Sir taught us about two types of technology:Technology in Education and Technology of Education. Technology in education includes microphone technology, laptop technology, LCD projector technology. 

Technology of Education includes multisensory communication. 

Then sir shared views on hardware and software technology. Sir concluded the session by sharing three laws. These includes Law of Readiness, Law of Excercise and Law of Effect. 

Last hour is game session. 

We played the game lion and lamp. 

I enjoyed the day.
