Day 50: The day began with a prayer at Chapel. I eagerly went to Maya ma'am class.
Today Ma'am discussed about the following topics:
Cultural Diffusion
•Means accepting cultural pattern consciously or unconsciously from other nations or within the nation.
Enculturation
•Is the process by which people learn the requirements of their surrounding culture and acquire values and behaviours appropriate in that culture.
Acculturation
•Process of cultural and psychological change by accepting new cultural pattern.
Cultural Inertia
•It reinforces old habits, making transformation difficult.
Sanskritisation
•A process of social change in India.
Role of Education with regard to culture
•Preservation
•Transformation
•Transmission
As it was a two hour class of Maya ma'am, second hour seminar by English optionals were conducted. The topic they taught were:
Introduction to Indian Music,History and Development
Music🎶🎶
•It's origin date back to sacred vedic scripture over 6000 yrs age where chants developed a system of musical notes and rhythmic cycles.
•Pillars of Indian music: Raga and Thala.
•Classical music : Guru, Vinaya and Sadhana
•Instruments in Hindustani Sangeet: Sitar, Tabla, Sarod, Sarangi
They took their seminar excellently.
Then Benedict Sir handled the next two session of the class.
Sir described in detailed about the skill of questioning and skill of explanation.

Afternoon session was handled by optional teacher.Shiney ma'am gave us an awareness regarding the speciality of this day that is It's March 22 ,World water day.
As a result our department had organised a poster competition for the students in MTTC. Then ma'am discussed about our pending portions.Then taught about the difference between Aim and Objectives. It was an interactive and interesting class. We discussed the points each other. Then ma'am told us to read the topic for better clarification. After Shiney ma'am class, principal sir announced that all teachers and union members to gather at college auditorium for discussing about the union day inauguration.
Then we all leave the college by 4pm.
