Day 54: The day began with a  prayer 🙏. Maya ma'am handled first hour. English optionals conducted their seminar. The topics they discussed were:

Salient features of The Indian Society

•The merging of tradition with modernism. 

•Unity in diversity. 

•There is tolerance and mutual Respect. 

Then ma'am shared a video of thiruvathirakalli for explaining the new topic- National Integration. 

National integration means:

•Emotional integration within nation. 

•Feeling of oneness. 

•Feeling among the citizens that India is one. 

•Country comes first. 

Factors favorable for National Integration

•Constitutional provision regarding equality of opportunity. 

•Secular state in 1977.

Then Benedict sir continued the class on skills of microteaching. 

Subskills of Experimentation

•Suitability to content

•Ordering

•Complementary explanation

•Student participation

•Element of dramatization. 

Subskills of Chalkboard writing

•Neatness and legibility

•Suitability and sufficiency

•Space management

•Colour selection

•Attention drawing devices. 

These subskills were discussed at the class till afternoon. 

Afternoon, we went to library to collect notes on Unit plan, lesson plan, year plan. After referring the books, we gathered at seminar Hall for the preparation of arts day competition. Then leader collected the names of students in each items. 

Finally by 4 pm we dispersed.
