A LESSON PLAN PREPARATION.....

Day 66: After two days leave,our online class begins today.The day began with online class at 9:15 am by Shiney ma'am. Class began with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and thought for the day was shared by Sreevineetha. After that ma'am revised the topic on Bloom's taxonomy, it helped me to capture many points. 

Then she discussed about three types of planning. 

Planning is the process of making the teaching process systematic and organized. 

Three types of planning were:

•Year plan

•Unit plan and 

•Lesson plan. 

Year plan is the plan of action for one academic year. It gives holistic perspective of the syllabus grid. 

Unit plan is the plan of action for transacting one unit of a subject. 

Lesson plan  is the plan of action for one period for transacting specific content area of the unit. 

After discussing about the terms, ma'am showed a model for lesson plan and unit plan preparation. It was an excellent class. Then Archa took seminar on the topic: Peer tutoring. 

It was a nice presentation. 

At 11:15 am, Joju sir took the class and English optional students conducted their seminar presentation nicely.They deal with the topics : CMI and CAI. 

•CMA stands for computer managed instruction. It is a category of computer program used by educators and instructors to organize and manage data. 

•CAI stands for computer Assisted Instruction. It refers to the use of computer as a tool to facilitate and improve interaction. 

They concluded the session by describing in detail about the advantages and disadvantages of CMA and CAI. All of them performed it well. At 12:30 pm sir evaluate the students and ended the class.
