KILL BAD HABITS, BEFORE IT KILLS YOU........

Day 86: Today online class began at 9:30 am. Dr Joju sir took first morning session class. Sir began the class by sharing a shubhachintha. "You have to remove your bad habits, before it kills you." This  is the message from shubhachintha. 
Followed by seminar presentation by social science optional. They discussed about cloud computing, Web based learning and Educational podcast. It was an excellent class. 
They discussed in detail about the topic through examples. By 11 am sir concluded the session. 
At 11:15 am, Ancy ma'am discussed about the topic: Philosopher- John Dewey and Eclectic Tendencies in education. 
John Dewey
•Father of educational philosophy. 
•Notable works: The school and society, The child and the curriculum, Democracy and Education. 
Dewey's Theories and Beliefs on Education
•Experiential education- Learn by doing. 
•The Role of school- Place to learn how to live. 
•Role of curriculum- According to child's interest. 
•Role of Teacher- Facilitator and guide. 
•Methods- project method, experimental and problem solving method. 
•Discipline- Socio centric. 
Eclectic Tendencies in Education
Ma'am shared the points through google Classroom and so that we could able to go through the points.

26/08/2022 Today I came to school with an unpleasant mind. It is the last day of our internship. After signing the attendance register I engaged in morning duty. Then I went to manage the students in 5 N class.  Students who have exam at afternoon wait in 5 N class. I manage the class for one hour.  Afternoon, I went to have lunch and presented gift to my concerned teacher and took photos.  Then I signed and sealed my record. After a  photo session, we all leave the school.  This internship refreshes me and was a nice experience.

25/08/2022 Today due to onam exam, we reached the school at 8:45 am. Then I went for exam duty at 5 K class. It was a pleasant experience for me. It was my first experience to be in exam duty. I discussed question paper with them and clear their doubts.  After the exam duty, I went to lunch and do my pending notes.  Thought for the day

TEACHERS ONAM CELEBRATION @ ST MARY'S PATTOM.................

23/08/2022 Today eagerly went to school because today was the teachers onam celebration. As it's trainees duty to coordinate the programs of this day. Principal sir asked to gather trainees at computer lab to provide instructions regarding the programs.  For their school day onam celebration, we coordinate well and father awarded each trainee a pen.  After that, we went to school main auditorium for the onam celebration. Principal and vice principal gave onam message.  Followed by vanchipattu and Thiruvathira of four houses.  Then we all gatgered together at Clemis block to conduct the rest of the games like lemon and spoon, musical chair, scooter slow race.  Four house teachers participate well in all games with a competitive mind.  Then we get ready for having onasadhya at main auditorium.
